Indieser Ausgabe dreht sich daher allesum die Kunst des guten Lebens undnatürlich um Musik. Neben unzähligenKonzerten, Festivals und OpenAirs ist der legendäre Jazz Sommerim Bayerischen Hof eines der ganzgroßen Highlights der nächsten Monate.Und das nicht ohne Grund. WasFans, Musiker auf der ganzen Weltund vor allem die Münchner selbstnämlich längst wissen: Jazz hat einenWohnsitz in München. Ihren Anfangnahm diese Tradition nach Ende desKrieges, als mit den amerikanischenGIs auch viele amerikanische Jazzmusikernach München kamen undin Clubs wie dem Studio 15, dem HotClub und im Bayerischen Hof auftraten.Auch ich bin dem Jazz persönlichsehr verbunden, seit ich als Kind einePlatte des Gitarristen John McLaughlinhörte. Ich habe mich sogar einmalselbst am Saxophon versucht, dasInstrument aber irgendwann wiederaufgegeben.Ganz anders Billy Idol. Auch mit 70Jahren lebt der britische Rockstar seinemusikalische Leidenschaft auf derBühne aus. Am 27. Juni wird er aufdem Münchner Königsplatz auftretenund neben seinen legendären Songswie „White Wedding“ und „Sweet Sixteen“auch Lieder von seinem neuenStudioalbum performen.
